Stanley House

This project expresses an industrial contemporary design approach through bold massing, exposed material textures, and a strong contrast between solid and void. The facade is composed of stacked cubic volumes, creating a robust architectural presence that feels grounded and restrained.

Raw-toned concrete finishes, dark metal elements, and stone textures define the material character, while large openings are selectively placed to maintain privacy and control daylight. The cantilevered upper volumes and deep overhangs provide shading and reinforce the building’s solid, monolithic expression.

Integrated greenery is used as a counterbalance to the heavy material palette, softening the facade and introducing a subtle tropical layer. Overall, the design presents a contemporary residence with an industrial character—functional, honest in material expression, and visually composed..
